Todd M. Miller
Todd earned his undergraduate degree in economics at Washington State University and his law degree at Seattle University School of Law. Before attending law school, Todd served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
During law school, Todd was a member of the Moot Court Board and took part in externship programs with the legal department of a large technology company headquartered in Seattle and in the chambers of the Honorable John P. Erlick in King County Superior Court.
As a former officer in the United States Marine Corps, I learned that to be successful one must create and sustain good relationships, and I believe that same rule applies directly to an attorney when managing a client's matter, whether it be forming a small business entity, closing a multi-million dollar real estate development deal, or resolving a matter through litigation. Building these kinds of relationships requires an attorney that can do two things: first, communicate with the client and gain a deep understanding of his or her interests; and second, successfully communicate, advocate for, and defend those interests throughout the life of the client's transaction.
One of the foundations of my practice is the communication skills I developed while serving the country, skills which help me provide effective and valuable results when representing my clients. I strive to provide legal advice in the most efficient and valuable manner available.
I was raised in Centralia, WA and attended Washington State University where I earned a degree in economics. After graduating, I served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with Golf Company, 2d Battalion, 3d Marine Regiment. I enjoy reading for pleasure, though I rarely do it enough, WSU football, and spending time with family and friends.
